ILEMOLE FAGBOHUNMI(Fagbohunmi Home Of Tradition And Culture) Mo wari fun Isese Ifagbohunmi House was founded in February 2002. We have made this name to our Ile in honour of our great father Fagbohun Akande (Ifa gbo ohun mi "Ifa heard my voice/prayer) who was the only child of Atanda Idowu. Who according to our history was the one of the babalawo who accompanied the Alaafin Atiba from the old to the new Oyo to help in its revival. He came with his maternal sisters; Lanko, Oyinkan and Ayoka.
Idowu was in those times Babalawo Alaafin of Oyo who is to take care of the children and infants (He was given the name ' Aaregbemode' "Aare a gbe omo de" meaning "we have brought the child/ren for treatment'). Was also the only babalawo in charge of worship of "Orun" (The Deity of Heaven) till date and no other babalawo can do this. Basorun (the head of Oyomesi) is in-charge of "Orisa Orun" and they make sacrifice to Orun during "ebo Basorun" (Basorun's festival). Oloye Fasipe Idowu-Fagbohun is in-charge of the Orisa Orun as at present as the eldest son of Fagbohunmi Idowu
Members of the Ile Fagbohun are; omo, the Omo Awo (Babalawos and Olórìsàs), initiated and trained in the mysteries of Ifa-orisa by our father Baba Fasipe Idowu-Fagbohun.
